Blueberry U-Pick season is here!

Blueberry harvest season continues! This season's crop is not as abundant as some past seasons, but the rain has been helpful, and we're grateful to be able to offer U-Pick opportunities for these tasty fruits!

U-Pick opportunities are currently scheduled for July 1 (Tues, 7am-7pm) and July 4 (Fri, 7am - Noon.) U-Pick opportunities will likely continue Tuesday, July 8. IF it's rained the night/day before call the hotline at (815) 200-8688 to double check on road conditions.

Please use caution as you drive the path from Bottom Road to the blueberries. In wet conditions, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is encouraged.

Directions to blueberries: 

From the Hungry World Farm Farmstead or Farm Learning Center, head north on 1925 East St. At the “T” (Tiskilwa Bottom Road / 980 North Ave), turn left and continue 0.1 mile. Turn left (south) at gate (see “BLUEBERRIES” sign to right of gate), and follow the path to blueberries.

From the village of Tiskilwa, head east on Tiskilwa Bottom Road / 980 North Ave about 0.6 mile. You should see a sign that says “BLUEBERRIES” on your right. Turn right (south) at the gate, and follow the path to the blueberries.
