We have a wide variety of organically-grown produce available to local communities. By purchasing this produce, you are contributing toward your own health as well as the health of the land and local communities. You are also supporting interns and other learners, who are gaining experience and practical skills in agriculture. Here are some ways you can purchase produce from us at HWF:
Strawberries: As per availability (June). Ready-picked berries for sale at the Princeton Farmers’ Market and annual Strawberry & Artisan Festival in Tiskilwa. Want to be placed on a list for ready-picked berries, according to supply/availability? Contact us.
Blueberries: As per availability (late June through mid-July). U-pick (See Farm Updates page for U-pick updates). Ready-picked berries for sale at the Princeton Farmers’ Market. Want to be placed on a list for ready-picked berries, according to supply/availability? Contact us.
Assorted vegetables: CSA (see CSA page), Princeton Farmers’ Market, restaurants, and more. Contact us for item/seasonal availability.
Seasonally, we have pasture-raised animals to sell. We currently sell these to customers by the whole animal. We deliver the live animal to the processing center. Customers then pay the locker/processing facility for the processing fees and then pick up the meat from the facility directly. Contact us for interest in goat, lamb, or pork (animals ready in late Fall).
Know of others (e.g. local restaurants, co-ops, health food stores, etc.) who might be interested in distributing our products? Please let us know!
